At least 49 people have been killed in a suicide bombing near the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
It is understood the attacker blew himself up in a crowd of mourners at a funeral at a village on the border of Diyala and Salahuddin provinces.
Police earlier said the blast took place in a village near the town of Tuz Khurmato, but later said this was not the case.
50 others were injured in the attack.
Mourners at the funeral included members of local US-backed neighbourhood security units, which have increasingly been attacked by al-Qaeda militants.
Northern Iraq has seen an upsurge in bombings this week, including one that killed 40 people in the town of Baquba.
