The Tánaiste Brian Cowen has said that nobody will know the makeup of his cabinet until he takes over as Taoiseach next month.
Speaking in Dublin tonight, Mr Cowen warned against believing any speculation in the media over the coming weeks, saying only he will know his own mind until 7 May.
Tomorrow morning he will be elected leader designate of the Fianna Fáil party.
He will not actually take over from Bertie Ahern until next month - but he says he will not talk until then about who will replace him as Tánaiste and who he favours for cabinet posts.
