Northern Ireland First Minister Ian Paisley is to travel to the United States in an effort to promote foreign investment.
Dr Paisley is about to embark on what amounts to a lap of honour before he steps down as First Minister and DUP leader at the end of May.
He will be overseas, attending functions in New York and Washington, on the actual date of the 10th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, 10 April.
Dr Paisley and Northern Irelan Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness will help to host an international investment conference in Belfast, which is timed to coincide with the first anniversary of Stormont Executive in May.
The politicians due to attend include Bertie Ahern, Gordon Brown and Brian Cowen.
Dr Paisley may also travel south to the Battle of the Boyne Hertitage Centre in Co Meath during May, for an official opening ceremony there.
