A powerful bomb blast at a restaurant in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad has killed a Turkish aid worker and injured at least nine.
Five US citzens, three Pakistanis, a British national, a Japanese and a Canadian are among those injured.
The bomb was planted at the restaurant frequented by foreigners.
The explosion at the Luna Caprese Italian restaurant in one of the city's busiest shopping areas comes amid a string of suicide attacks in the country blamed by Pakistani authorities on al-Qaeda and Taliban militants.
The restaurant manager said that a group of about a dozen foreigners was eating in the garden at the back of the restaurant when the explosion happened, blowing human limbs into the air.
The blast comes four days after two suicide bombs in the eastern city of Lahore, one of them targeting a police investigation headquarters, killed 27 people.
The attacks were the latest in a wave of Islamist-linked violence that has killed more than 600 people this year across Pakistan.
