The body which was found in a car in Galway last weekend has been identified as that of Rosanne Kenny.
A car with her body inside was found submerged in Ros an Mhíl harbour on Sunday afternoon.
The body was recovered by the garda water unit which had been searching for the missing 41-year-old schoolteacher.
From Kilmacud in Dublin, she was last seen driving a green Mazda 626 hatchback at Tullyross, Renvyle, Co Galway, at around noon on New Year's Eve.
