Motorists using the M50 overnight during the next two weeks are being warned that traffic flows will be disrupted due to roadworks.
South Dublin County Council has said road surfacing and tie-in works will take place between the N4 (Palmerstown) interchange and N7 (Red Cow) interchange overnight.
This weekend motorists will need to be aware of the following works schedule:
* At the N4 (Palmerstown) interchange, the southbound exit will be closed from mid-night on Saturday 16 February until 10am on Sunday 17 February.
Motorists are asked to U-turn at the N7 (Red Cow) interchange or use an alternative route.
*At the N7 interchange, the two dedicated lanes into the city will be reduced down to one lane from 11am Friday 15 February until 6am on Monday 18 February
Motorists are asked to allow extra time for their journey and slow down and follow the temporary diversion signage in place.
