Suspected human remains have been found in the waters around Lough Gill, Co Sligo.
The discovery was made during a search for a missing teenage girl.
Melissa Mahon was 14 years old when she went missing in September 2006 and it was thought at the time that she had gone to England.
However a week and a half ago, gardaí acting on information began searching Lough Gill.
The search was called off for a number of days due to poor weather and visibility problems.
The remains have been sent away for analysis.
