At least 17 people have been killed and around 40 injured in a powerful explosion in an industrial neighbourhood of Istanbul.
The blast is believed to have been accidental, causing massive destruction, with the facade of the building largely destroyed and large chunks of concrete smashing nearby cars.
About 15 people remain trapped under the rubble.
The explosion is thought to have occurred in the furnace room of a five-story building occupied by a textile company in the Davutpasa area of the city.
