The Northern Ireland Assembly has passed the Stormont Executive's first programme for government and investment strategy even though the SDLP, which has a minister in the Executive, voted against.
Members of the SDLP voted against the two documents tonight while the party's only minister, Margaret Ritchie, voted for it.
The Executive won a vote on both documents by 60 votes to 24 after accepting an Ulster Unionist proposal to regularly review them in Assembly, and revise both documents where necessary.
