Gardaí are investigating the cause of an early morning fire at a house in Ballymun in Dublin.
The blaze broke out at a house on Carton Court, a new housing development in the area, at around 6am.
There were no reports of any injuries and the Dublin Fire Brigade brought the fire under control.
It was understood a petrol bomb was thrown at the house.
Gardaí say the scene has been preserved for forensic examination as part of their investigation.
