All Dublin flights delayed tonight

Dublin Airport - Dispute with air traffic controllers
Dublin Airport - Dispute with air traffic controllers

Delays are expected on all flights due into Dublin aiport this evening due to a dispute between air traffic controllers and the Irish Aviation Authority.

A spokesperson for the Irish Aviation Authority confirmed that no flights will be able to land at Dublin Airport between 10.30pm and 11.30pm tonight.

Around 30 flights have been affected.

The dispute was referred to the Labour Court earlier in the week when air traffic controllers refused to work overtime.

A spokesperson for the union IMPACT, which represents air traffic controllers, said it is urging members to make themselves available to work overtime.

He said a significant amount of progress had been made to date in the search for a resolution.

The matter is due back before the Labour Relations Commission on Tuesday.
