Memorial services have taken place in Dublin and Cork this afternoon in memory of young people whose lives have been cut short by sudden cardiac death.
Every year around 70 to 100 young people under the age of 35 die from undectectible heart conditions in Ireland.
The Sudden Cardiac Death Support Group has organised the Christmas memorial services.
The Dublin Service took place in Monkstown Church of Ireland Parish Church.
The Cork service was held St Mary's Church, Carrigtwohill.
