Northern Ireland First Minister Ian Paisley has said that he is taken aback by the positive reaction to the Stormont delegation visiting the US.
Mr Paisley was commenting in New York after he and Martin McGuinness reached the end of the first leg of their week-long US visit.
The First and Deputy First Ministers will round off their visit to the city by switching on the NASDAQ stock exchange in Times Square.
The pair will then head to Washington where the focus of the visit become more political, culminating with a meeting President George W Bush at the White House on Friday.
