Eight Irish Non-Governmental Organisations were in Brussels today for talks with the EU Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Louis Michel.
The talks were to examine the agenda that is to be discussed at the summit of EU and African leaders scheduled for Lisbon next month.
The meetings have been facilitated by MEPs Brian Crowley and Eoin Ryan.
Representatives from Concern, Trócaire, Amnesty International, and Christian Aid Ireland, were among those to attend the talks.
