A suicide bomber has driven a motorbike into a bus carrying Pakistani air force officials, killing at least eight and wounding 40 others.
The attack happened in the Sargodha district of central Punjab province, where the largest air force base in Pakistan is located.
Witnesses said ambulances raced the casualties to local hospitals, where an emergency was declared.
Some of the injured were in critical condition.
Three school children were injured when shrapnel hit their van.
