Fire crews brought a blaze at a pet food store in Co Kilkenny under control this morning.
The fire broke out in a shop beside the main Connolly's Red Mills animal foods plant in Goresbridge.
Nine fire brigade units from Bagenalstown, Carlow, Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny fought the outbreak after the alarm was raised at 2am this morning
It was brought under control at 5am.
Management at Connolly's Red Mills says there will be no significant interruption to supply as the main pet food facility and store is based in Rednut Ltd in Gowran, some 6km away.
The blaze is believed to have started in a shed which contained a large amount of pallets.
