Talks have resumed in Belfast to attempt break the deadlock in the classroom assistants dispute in Northern Ireland.
The Labour Relations Agency invited management and the unions involved to meet its officials yesterday.
The public service union NIPSA said last night progress had not yet been made on the key issues.
They said they entered talks determined and committed to finding a resolution to the dispute that was acceptable to classroom assistants.
About 3,000 members from NIPSA began an indefinite strike on 8 October over pay and job regrading.
Assistants belonging to three other unions (UNISON, UNITE and GMB) are not on strike.
They are also represented at the talks.
