The organisers of last years' controversial LOVE Ulster rally in Dublin have withdrawn their request to hold another event in Dublin this Autumn.
The decision was announced after a meeting involving Willie Frazer, of the Loyalist Victims Organisation, DUP MP Jeffrey Donaldson and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dermot Ahern, in Dundalk.
After the meeting, Mr Frazer said 'we are satisfied we now have started a process of dialogue with the Irish Government about the victims of Republican violence in border areas.'
He said the request to hold a rally in Dublin had been withdrawn, and he did not envisage future requests would be lodged as a result of today's developments.
