The Minister for the Environment, John Gormley, has said he intends to meet the colleagues of the firemen who lost their lives in Bray ten days ago to discuss how best to reform the fire service.
However, he said he would wait for the outcome of the investigations into the fire before making any decisions on whether or not to implement a full time service.
Mr Gormley was speaking at a meeting of Green party members to discuss the party's role in government.
