A US soldier has been killed and three others wounded today in a roadside bomb attack in Baghdad.
The soldier was killed when an improvised explosive device detonated during combat operations in the southern region of Baghdad.
The announcement takes the overall toll of US military losses since the March 2003 invasion to 3,810.
