At least 11 people have been killed and seven wounded in a suicide bomb blast in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
The attack on a police bus in the west of the city comes just days after a similar bombing claimed 30 lives in the city.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed claimed responsibility for the attack.
Six of those killed were police officers while three children were also among the dead.
The attacker, strapped with explosives, had tried to board the bus but a policeman on the vehicle became suspicious and shot him.
But the bomber still managed to get onto the first step of the bus and detonate the explosives.
The Taliban also claimed Friday's attack on a defence ministry bus that killed 30 people, which was one of the bloodiest bombings of the recent insurgency.
It has vowed a campaign of attacks for month of Ramadan, which will end in two weeks. There have been six suicide attacks in that time.
