A cyclist was killed in a road traffic collision in Co Louth yesterday.
The man, who was in his 50s, died after a collision involving a Mitsubishi 4x4 vehicle.
The incident happened at around 4.20pm in Annaghvacky, Hackballscross, near Dundalk.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Separately, a man was killed in Co Wexford last night after he was struck by a car.
The incident occurred in Brownswood in Enniscorthy at around 10.30pm yesterday.
The pedestrian, who was in his late 50s, was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Gardaí are investigating both incidents.
