Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has announced a wide-ranging reshuffle of his front bench, bringing in two newly elected TDs as well as bringing back four former TDs reelected in the last election.
Deputy Leader Richard Bruton on Finance is the only TD to retain his previous portfolio.
New TDs Leo Varadkar in Enterprise and James Reilly in Health are brought straight onto the front bench.
Phil Hogan moves to Environment, Olwyn Enright to Social & Family Affairs while Michael Ring takes Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs.
Eight members of the last front bench were dropped: Bernard Durkan, Bernard Allen, Paul Connaughton, Michael Noonan, John Perry, David Stanton, Jim O'Keeffe and Dinny McGinley.
Mr Kenny has created two new full front bench positions to deal with Immigration & Integration and with Children.
He said these were issues of critical importance for the future.
He noted that children's affairs will be the focus of a referendum in the near future.
