A US federal judge has approved the extradition of former Panamian dictator Manuel Noriega to France after he completes a prison sentence on 9 September.
Noriega was captured during the 1989 invasion of Panama and taken to the United States, where he was convicted of drug trafficking.
In 1999, a French court sentenced him in absentia to 10 years in jail for money laundering.
