Members of the South-East Mountain Rescue team are assisting a woman who sustained injuries on Galtymore in the Galtee Mountains, Co Tipperary.
It is understood the woman, who is in her 50s, suffered injuries to her arm and leg, which are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Members of the South-East Rescue team have reached the woman but due to adverse weather conditions it is expected to be some time before she can be moved.
