More than 60 specialist financial investigators will be appointed to fight organised crime across Northern Ireland.
As part of the effort to curtail criminal lifestyles, the specialists will be able to apply to the High Court in Belfast to stop suspects selling property, land, cars or houses.
A senior PSNI officer said, with a financial investigator now embedded in every policing district, organised criminals were being hunted right across Northern Ireland.
