Gardaí from Ballyshannon Garda Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 15-year-old female who was found in a flat at Main Street, Ballintra, Co Donegal shortly before midnight last night.
The female was removed to Letterkenny Hospital where the State Pathologist will conduct a post mortem tomorrow, Monday.
The deceased was from Belfast, Co Antrim.
The girl’s name will not be released until all relatives have been informed.
The scene at Ballintra has been preserved for a technical examination.
Foul play is not expected in the girl's death.
