The funeral has taken place of the former Tánaiste and Fianna Fáil minister, John Wilson, who died earlier this week.
Mr Wilson died on Monday, just one day after his 84th birthday.
Requiem Mass mwas held at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Churchtown this morning and burial will take place in Mullahoran Cemetery in Cavan.
Mr Wilson was born in Co Cavan on 8 July 1923.
The academic and All-Ireland winning GAA footballer was first elected to the Dáil for the Cavan-Monaghan constituency in 1973 and held a variety of ministerial portfolios during his political career.
Once elected to the Dáil, Mr Wilson was re-elected at each subsequent election until 1992 when he retired his seat.
