China has been accused of grossly exploiting workers including children while making official merchandise for the Olympic Games.
Beijing will host the summer Olympics next year.
A report by Play Fair, an alliance of world trade unions, said it found abuses at the four factories licensed to manufacture the merchandise.
The report says there is evidence of children as young as 12 producing Olympic merchandise.
Researchers also found adults earning half the legal minimum wage in China and employees who were made to work up to 15 hours per day, seven days a week.
Brendan Barber, from the main trade union confederation in Britain and one of the authors behind the report, said children and adult workers are being exploited so that employers can make more profit.
