An inquest has confirmed that a woman who died from liver failure did so as a result of an adverse reaction to the widely used arthritis drug Aulin.
The drug was taken off the market on 15 May following liver failure in nine people, three of whom died.
Sheila Gunn, who was 69 and from Donaghmede in Dublin, died on 9 December 2005.
The osteoarthritis drug known as Aulin, Nimesulide and Mesulid was ordered to be taken off the shelves by the Irish Medicines Board.
