Up to 23 people have been killed in the latest suicide bomb attacks in Iraq.
Another 30 people were wounded in the blast, which happened in a crowded cafe northeast of Baghdad.
The bomber was apparently wearing a suicide vest when he walked into the cafe in Mandali, a mainly Shia Kurd town near the Iranian border about 100km from Baghdad.
Meanwhile, at least three people were killed and nine wounded by a suicide car bomber in a popular market in the town of Jbela, near Iskandariya, 40km south of Baghdad, according to police.
Ten US troops killed
Nine US troops were killed yesterday around Iraq, according to the US military.
Three soldiers were killed when their patrol was hit by a roadside bomb attack south of Baghdad.
Two more soldiers were killed by another roadside bomb north of Baghdad, while two marines died in action in the western province of Anbar, according to statements from US command in Baghdad.
One US soldier was shot dead in the capital and another was hit by a booby trap as his unit operated near where three of their comrades were abducted by al-Qaeda 11 days ago.
The body of one of the missing soldiers was today found in the Euphrates River in the town of Mussayab, south of Baghdad, police said.
A police spokesman said there were bullet wounds to the torso and head of the body.
It brings to 85 the number of servicemen killed in one of the most violent months of the war so far.
