Roisin McAliskey, the daughter of former MP Bernadette Devlin McAliskey, is facing extradition proceedings in connection with a mortar attack on a British Army base in Germany in the 1990s.
The 35-year-old was arrested in Dungannon this morning under a European extradition warrant and was then detained in Coalisland, Co Tyrone.
Ms McAliskey is facing charges in connection with an IRA attack on a British Army base in Osnabruck, Germany in June 1996.
She has been granted bail pending a full hearing on 6 June.
Ms McAliskey faced a similar action in 1998. The then British Home Secretary, Jack Straw, decided at the time that she could not be extradited for health reasons, as she was pregnant.
