Hauliers have confirmed that they will disrupt Dublin Port as well as the M50 during their protest next week.
Some shipping companies have advised customers not to expect deliveries next Tuesday as a result of the action planned by the Road Transport Association.
Other companies are making arrangements to take freight through Cork or Belfast ports.
The Road Transport Association say they will be blocking one lane of the M50 on both the northbound and southbound sections near the Westlink toll bridge from 6am.
They also intend to mount a rolling protest at Dublin Port from 5am with trucks driving at minimal speed.
The Road Transport Association want a lifting of tolls on the M50 and the appointment of an industry regulator.
