The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation into an accident on a trawler in Kilmore Quay, Co Wexford, which claimed the life of a Waterford man.
The man in his 30s, who has been named locally as Stephen Frisby, was working on board the trawler last night when the accident happened.
It is understood the 24-metre trawler was preparing to take to sea for fishing when the tragedy occurred.
Investigations are continuing into the possibility that the man was electrocuted.
