The Internet company, Digiweb, is to create 200 jobs with the opening of a new technology campus in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

The new network operations centre will be the base for the company's mobile broadband national network.

The firm is set to more than double its current workforce of 120.

80 of these positions will be filled straight away, with jobs available for Cisco, network and IP engineers, project managers and project development staff.

Digiweb has operations in Ireland, the UK and France, and is developing a mobile broadband service in Norway.

Its Irish expansion plans include further work on its fibre network, and a new mobile broadband national network.
