The two people killed in a collision between two cars near Dundalk in Co Louth, early this morning, have been named.
They were 64-year-old George Campbell from Annaloughan, Jenkinstown, Louth and 17-year-old David Keenan of Culfore, Mountpleasant, Louth.
The crash happened on the Dundalk to Carlingford road, at Annaloughan, shortly before 3am this morning.
It is believed that one car, a silver Audi car with Northern registration plates, had been stolen.
It is understood the driver of the stolen car left the scene and gardaí are trying to locate him.
Another passenger in the Audi car, a 17 year old girl is in a stable condition at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda.
Another person believed to have been an occupant of that car is also receiving hospital treatment in Drogheda.
