Fianna Fáil has announced that Martin Brady and Dr Michael Woods have been selected to run as General Election candidates in the constituency of Dublin North-East.
The National Constituencies Committee of Fianna Fáil, chaired by Minister for Finance, Brian Cowen, announced the decision today.
The announcement puts an end to speculation surrounding Dr Woods' intentions.
The ticket is now finalised, which is bad news for Senator Liam Fitzgerald.
Senator Fitzgerald had hoped he would get the chance to regain the Dáil seat he used to hold.
