At least 14 people have been killed and more than 100 wounded following three explosions in Iraq this morning.
In the worst attack, six people were killed when a chlorine gas tanker exploded in the town of Taji, north of Baghdad.
It is understood a driver parked his truck in front of a Shia-owned restaurant before it exploded.
Meanwhile, at least three people were killed and 12 wounded when a car bomb exploded at a gas station in western Baghdad.
Five more died and at least 19 wounded in a food market in the same area.
The Iraqi army said its soldiers had captured three terrorist suspects in a raid in Hilla, 120km south of Baghdad.
Three car bombs, 100 Katyusha rockets and three makeshift bombs were also seized.
Iraqi and US troops have launched a vast operation in the past week in a bid to stamp out sectarian violence by insurgents and rogue Shia militias in Baghdad, and are also going after rebel concentrations in cities like Ramadi and Baquba, northeast of the capital.
