Green Party leader Trevor Sargent has again called on Fine Gael and Labour to enter a pre-election partnership arrangement in support of action on climate change and renewable energy.
Speaking on RTÉ Radio's This Week programme, Mr Sargant said his party will enter the forthcoming General Election as an independent party but is willing to negotiate with all parties with a view to changing Government policy.
He said there needs to be social equity between income earners, as well as common ground on tackling climate change, energy efficiency and renewable energy targets.
