A new opinion poll shows that Fine Gael and Labour have gained support at the expense of Fianna Fáil.
The poll for the Sunday Tribune shows that Fianna Fáil is at 39%, Fine Gael at 22% and Labour at 12%.
Both Opposition parties show an increase of two points, while Fianna Fáil have dropped three points.
The Progressive Democrats gain one to 5%, the Greens drop one to 5%, and Sinn Féin are also down one to 7%.
However, things were not all bad for the Governemnt as both party leaders increased their satisfaction ratings. Bertie Ahern moved up two to 58% and Michael McDowell boosted his rating by seven to 47%.
The poll also shows that a majority of voters believe the family of Charles Haughey should be made to pay back some of the money he took during his political career.
