Two killed, 30 injured in Bangkok blasts

Two people have been killed and more than 30 have been injured in a series of bomb explosions in shopping areas in Bangkok in Thailand.

The Thai authorities cancelled all public celebrations for New Year's Eve after the first devices went off.

At least six small bombs went off within about an hour of each other.

One bomb exploded under a seat at a bus stop outside a shopping centre, killing one person and injuring 16.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
