The PSNI has told Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams of another threat to his life.
It recently emerged that hardline republicans had threatened Mr Adams, Sinn Féin chief negotiator Martin McGuinness and the party's policing spokesman, Gerry Kelly.
A Sinn Féin spokesman said the party takes all threats seriously.
Last weekend the loyalist killer Michael Stone was charged with attempting to murder Mr Adams and Mr McGuinness in a gun and bomb attack on Parliament Buildings at Stormont.
Several weeks ago it emerged that dissident republicans opposed to Sinn Féin's political strategy had also threatened to kill party leaders.
A Sinn Féin spokesman said they would take whatever precautions they could to minimise the danger, but stressed they would not be deflected from continuing the work they were elected to do.
