Convicted Loyalist Michael Stone has had his early prison release under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement suspended by the Northern Secretary.
The provision was served on Stone shortly before 6pm.
Stone had been released under licence in 2000, after serving twelve years of a life sentence for the Milltown Cemetery murders in 1988.
Earlier today he was remanded in custody charged with a total of five counts of attempted murder as well as possessing explosives with intent to endanger life, possession of an imitation firearm and possession of articles for terrorist purposes.
This included nail bombs, an axe and a garrote.
As he left the dock, Mr Stone shouted out 'no sell-out, no power-sharing with the Shinners, no surrender'.
The charges arise from yesterday's security incident on the Parliament buildings in Stormont.
The security scare forced Assembly members to abandon their first meeting since last month's St Andrews Agreement plan for reviving devolution.
They will meet again on Monday.
