A support service for families of missing persons has said that, despite an increase in the number of missing persons, funding has been withdraw for a missing persons helpline.
Volunteers of the Missing in Ireland Support Service are cycling through several counties today and tomorrow to highlight the disappearance of several people from the Midlands and Kildare.
The cycle started at Naas, Co Kildare, and moved to Tullamore, Co Offaly.
It will return to Naas tomorrow via Portarlington, Co Laois, Kildare Town and Newbridge.
