Gardaí in Athlone have named the 66-year-old man who died following a two vehicle collision in the early hours of yesterday morning at Moate, Co Westmeath.
He was Cyril O'Reilly of Pinewood Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin.
The two females injured during the incident remain in hospital at Tullamore where their conditions are described as not life threatening.
The motorcyclist who died last night in a road accident in Co Fermanagh has also been named.
He was 47-year-old James McGuinness from Glasgow Terrace in the Rosemount area of Derry.
He was in collision with a car on the road between Enniskillen and Belleek alongside Lough Erne.
Earlier, gardaí named the man killed in a road accident in Co Kildare last night as 45-year-old William Lanigan from Mountarmstrong in Kildare.
He died when he was struck by a van near Naas.
And in Co Clare, 60-year-old John Fitzgibbon from Tulla Road was killed last night when he was struck by a car in Ennis.
Gardaí have not yet named the 24-year-old woman who died after the car she was driving was involved in a collision in Co Limerick this morning.
The accident happened at Rockhill, Bruff. The male driver of the other car has been taken to hospital.
Man hurt in Dublin bus accident
Meanwhile, a man was seriously injured following an accident involving a bus in Dublin city centre yesterday evening.
Gardaí said the man was dragged underneath the single-decker Dublin Bus vehicle on College Green.
He was taken to St James's Hospital for treatment.
