Two men charged in connection with an alleged plot to blow up transatlantic airliners have been remanded in custody by a court in London.
A bail application on behalf of one of them was refused. There was no bail application on behalf of the other.
Both men were arrested, along with 22 others, in overnight raids on 10 August by police investigating an alleged conspiracy to blow up transatlantic passenger jets.
Of the other 22, 11 have been charged with conspiracy to murder and preparing an act of terrorism.
Three other people, including a young mother, have been charged with failing to disclose information about suspects in the case while a 17-year-old youth faces an unrelated terrorism charge.
A total of seven of those originally arrested have been released without charge, including three who were freed last night.
