The family of an Irish engineer who was kidnapped by gunmen in Nigeria have expressed concern for his safety but remain hopeful that he will be freed by his captors.
Bryan Fogerty, 39, from Oughterard in Co Galway was employed by the US construction and military contracting firm Halliburton.
He and three other oil company workers were taken at gunpoint from a nightclub in the southern city of Port Harcourt on Sunday night.
