Fire fighters have brought a major fire at Brittas Bay in Co Wicklow under control
The fire is believed to have started in gorse bushes.
Separately, the fire service is attending a Bog Fire at Clonenagh near Mountrath, Co Laois.
Gardaí say that visibility is very poor on the M7 between Portlaoise and Mountrath.
