The largest paramilitary organisation in Northern Ireland, the UDA, has expelled two of its leading members.

Andre and Ihab Shoukri are brothers from north Belfast.

Andre Shoukri, who is currently in prison awaiting trial on charges of blackmail, intimidation and money laundering, was part of a UDA delegation which met the then Northern Secretary, Paul Murphy, in 2004.

Ihab Shoukri has denied being a member of the UDA.
