Three people including a 16-year-old motorcyclist have died in road crashes in counties Clare, Donegal and Wexford.
The accidents all happened within 24 hours of each other. Two of the dead were motorcyclists.
A 16-year-old died after a car and a motorbike crashed at Coolroe, Ballycullane near New Ross, Co Wexford, shortly before 10pm last night. The teenager who was killed was riding the motorcycle at the time.
He was named this afternoon as Mark Molloy from Bealistown, Ballycullane.
In Co Clare, a 21-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on Main Street in Kildysart at around 2am this morning.
He has been named as Stephan Corry from Labasheeda in Co Clare.
Witnesses have been asked to contact gardaí at Kilrush on 065-9080550.
Meanwhile, in Donegal a 34-year-old man died after his motorbike left the road at Cashelnavean near Ballybofey.
He has been named as John Barr of Ashbrook in Strabane, Co Tyrone.
The accident occurred at 5.20pm yesterday evening. No other vehicle was involved.
Mr Barr was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital where he later died.
